Sex, lies and ill-fitting swimwear … Sun Protection Factor 100
Jan Nyman, the ace detective of the covert operations unit of the National Central Police, is sent to a sleepy seaside town to investigate a mysterious death. Nyman arrives in the town dominated by a bizarre holiday village – the ‘hottest beach in Finland’. The suspect: Olivia Koski, who has only recently returned to her old hometown. The mission: find out what happened, by any means necessary.
With a nod to Fargo, and dark noir, Palm Beach, Finland is both a page-turning thriller and a black comedy about lust for money, fleeing dreams and people struggling at turning points in their lives – chasing their fantasies regardless of reason.
In October last year, I was lucky to be invited to read The Language of Secrets, the second book in the Esa Khattak and Rachel Getty mystery series. I had ADORED the first novel and was over the moon to read the next adventure of two of the best-crafted characters ever.
Today, I am just as happy to be part of the blog tour with a guest post from the author, the very talented Ausma Zehanat Khan!
Thank you Anne for letting me stay on this great journey with you, Exit Press, and Ausma!

Better late than never!
I have missed a couple of commitments I had taken and I apologize for this. I hate it when I fail to do all that’s scheduled but mistakes happen, and I am lucky to have amazing and understanding friends. (Sorry again, and thank you, Noelle!)
To celebrate the fact that last year at this very same time, I was saying goodbye to the Orenda Month I hosted on Chocolate’n’Waffles, I decided to share my love!
Thanks a lot to Karen Sullivan for allowing me to host a giveaway and let a reader get a proof of one of her stories. You rock, Orenda Mama!
This must be one of my favorite posts to write. Do you know why? Because today, I get to share the love, my love for one of the best written series I have ever picked up, thanks to its wonderful author, the fabulous Rachel Amphlett!
