I never thought I’d make it. I read around 150 books this year, which made coming up with a list of my favourite books an impossible task.
Almost impossible! Because I’m awesome and I did it! 😂
Now, I must warn you that I have loved many of the books I have read in 2019, and given quite a share of 5-star ratings. This list is the cherry on top, but if you take a look at my reviews, you’ll find more fantastic reads!
In no particular order, here are my book crushes!

Wow that’s a brilliant number of books! I totally hear you about not being able to fit all your faves into just ten books! Really like the sound of a lot of these- especially sleep and blood song.

It’s a lot of pressure to come up with a Top of the year. Crazy readers with so many good books…

Yes! It was my first book by her, too. Then I read Things You Save In a Fire. It was good, too.

Great sounding choice There, although you are awesome to have chosen those 19 from 150!! That’s so many books to read in 1 year!!! I also loved Fixed Odds. I still have Degrees of Guilt on my kindle so maybe that should be my next read.
I didn’t do a top list this year. But if I did Twisted and Chain would both be up there.
Hope you have many more 5 star reads this year Meggy.

I don’t know how people who read +300 books do it! It was hell to choose 19 books. I hope you enjoy Degrees of Guilt, I really found it amazing! xxx

I haven’t read any of these but judging by covers they look like reads I’d enjoy (honestly the book marketing business has got it correct, it’s so easy to tell a thriller from a YA fantasy, for instance?).

If you ever feel like trying one of them, go for it! 😀
