Happy Friday! #ThePositivityWave 33

Welcome to today’s Happy Friday! My remedy against feeling down is to make a list of all the good things in my life. It can be anything. Really, anything. The smallest gesture from a stranger can change your day, if you open your eyes. Now, I am a pessimistic and I need daily reminders to look for the bright side. Maybe you are too, or maybe the state of our world is weighing on you. In any case, here’s your shot at some happy things!

The POsitivity wave without c`

  • I can’t begin this post without a massive THANK YOU to everyone for helping me celebrate Snakes and Ladders being released! Twitter recognised the hashtag and we got real good results. But most of all, I had lots of fun thanks to you, guys!
  • A magnificent present surprised me. For the very first time, I appreciated receiving flowers. I love looking at them. They mean a lot to me professionally and personally.

  • I found my next buy!

  • I realised I’m okay with my toes looking like small sausages. Yes, I stared at them and reassured them I loved them anyway. 😂
  • Someone close to me has stopped smoking and I couldn’t be prouder!
  • I wrote a cover letter I actually like. It probably won’t happen again haha!!
  • Writing a list of things to do with someone dear. There’s magic in the air. Could I be contaminated by Christmas??????????
  • I received book mail that gave me all the feels!
  • I was reminded to stop being an idiot and call / text friends whenever I want to.
  • Finishing a sudoku in the bath without dropping the phone in the water. I should get a prize for that.
  • Barely any sleep but lots of dreams!

  1. I love this. I’m a natural pessimist and that is even more the case since my husband’s death this past June. I need the reminders to look for good things usually. This week was the first good one in almost 11 months and I didn’t have to look to hard for it. I had lots of love sent to me via book mail this week and I’m feeling loved and cared about for the first time since my husband’s death.

    1. Hey 😊 Thank you very much for stopping by. I am also a natural pessimist so this is my weekly check up to make sure I look at things in a different light. I can’t imagine how your life has changed and how difficult days might be. I am glad this week was good to you. Book mail and love, I like the sound of this. There’s nothing better than feeling the warmth of people around us. A smile, a talk. It all matters. I hope the week to come is kind to you. Please let me know if there’s anything I can do.

      1. I love receiving flowers and even better when there is a.nice message to go with them. Yours are beautiful.
Yes of course you should call / text whenever you want. You brighten my day when you message me…
        anytime. 😊
It’s great when anyone gives up smoking, so well done to your person.

        My waves include:
My flowers still blooming strong and pretty.
My pupil trying to say new words.
Saturday mornings with no alarm clock.
Going up a level on Pokemon Go. 😊
This is all about the small things right!?

        Have a good week Meggy.
        Amanda xx
