Happy Friday! #ThePositivityWave 9

Even the darkest weeks have their sweet moments…

Welcome to today’s Happy Friday! My remedy against feeling down is to make a list of all the good things in my life. It can be anything. Really, anything. The smallest gesture from a stranger can change your day, if you open your eyes. Now, I am a pessimistic and I need daily reminders to look for the bright side. Maybe you are too, or maybe the state of our world is weighing on you. In any case, here’s your shot at some happy things!

The POsitivity wave without c`

What made me happy this week?

  • Finally choosing the PERFECT tattoo! I can’t wait to get it. As impatient as I am, I need to wait a bit before it happens, but the thought of knowing exactly what I want is brilliant!
  • Going to my first concert of the year, also my very first concert of this talented French artist. It was my mom’s final birthday gift (her birthday is in December, I had something for her every month!) We had the most amazing time, and I lost my voice for two days after this wild Friday night!
  • Seeing someone READ before the concert! GUYS IT STILL HAPPENS! Go readers!

  • Deciding to go back to basics and going for everything natural… Work in progress, expect changes!
  • Wearing my university T-shirt as a reminder of the amazing time I had there, the friends I made, the challenges I faced, and the battles I won.

  • Flowers!

  • Reaching 5,000 followers on Twitter! How on earth did this happen???

  • Evenings with books, only disturbed by the dogs’ snoring!
  • Filter-free selfie with no makeup! #change #naturalalltheway! (still, I do need to have my eyebrows done!!! 😱🙈🤣)

    1. I’m really sorry to hear this *sends gentle hugs* This week was very difficult for me too, depression won most days. Here’s to another day, another week, and brighter moments. I hope you can feel better soon. Is there something you feel like doing that would help? X

  1. Do I spot your happy pants with that uni T-shirt? 😄 I will be needing a pic of that tattoo once it’s there!! Well uhm, depending on where “there” is, obviously 😂

    1. Haha, YES! My happy pants is guest-starring in this pic! Eagle eye! I promise to show the tattoo when it’s done! It’s nothing big, just a sentence that’s been on my mind for a long time and it feels right! Hope I don’t chicken out! Mouhahaha, the wrist! It’ll be on my wrist! 🤣

  2. I had to search a bit harder to find my happy moments this week. But finding this post was a reminder to look for and appreciate even the small things. So here goes:
Coming home and changing to comfy pjs.
Getting into a freshly changed bed.
The first cup of tea when I get home from work.
Comfort from a friend 😉 ( thank you Meggy).
Appreciating what I had despite it finishing.

I’m excited that you are getting a tattoo. I really want one too, but have no idea what to get yet.
What a lovely idea to get a gift for every month.
Thank you for the positivity wave, it reached me.
    Amanda xx

    1. I am sending you a gentle wave of love, darling friend. I am proud of you for facing the week, the monsters, and for being your awesome self no matter what.
Nothing beats coming home to your PJs, I agree!
Tea! I am still enjoying yours and thanking you for every cup!
      ❤ Anytime!
I have been wanting a tattoo for a long time. I thought about using my skills in Japanese to get a Kanji (I've seen so many people getting the wrong ideograms on them…) but I am going with a strong French sentence in a nice calligraphy style!
I am glad the positivity reached you, and I am sending big hugs xxx

I don’t usually go clubbing but when I do, I have to have my kindly with me 😀 Congrats on the 5,000 followers, wow that is major! I can’t recall much from last week, uneventful I guess but okay. Have a fab week ❤

    1. Epic is the word. I loved every minute of it. More than two hours singing, dancing, sharing with my mom, it was amazing. I was so happy to spot this reader that she heard me talk about her, haha!
Thank you! I don’t know why 5,000 followers are with me, but who cares, it’s fun! 🙂
I hope this week treats you well, fabulous lady! xxx
