Book Reviews, Wrap-up

Bye bye April 2019!

Let’s forget the moaning about how time flies and cut to the chase!

What’s New?

Less hair, more naps, and nice things in between!

Following friends advice, I am creating a board with inspirational quotes, goals, et cetera to keep the important things in mind. I’m not crafty but it’s not too hard to cut and glue :p

The blog is back to its waffles and tea header to celebrate … the fact I’m back eating way too many waffles!

New Books

Guess who is guilty of having fallen behind on her new books spreadsheet? Oh and I need to review faster than I add books!!!

Book of the Month Award

Ha. Ha. Ha. *pulls at her hair, screams in frustration, curse at thin air, (almost) regrets having chosen her month’s reading list so well, screams some more*

How the hell am I supposed to choose??? Okay. Breathe in. Breathe out. There can only be one. But other will get a mention because April treated me so well!

no way out

No way out was the most amazing surprise! What a way to step into Cara Hunter’s world! I love everything about this novel and the previous books in the series already are on my wish list! I was blown away by the writing, the plot, the characterisation, EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!

Special reward

What’s next?

I’m hoping to make a dent in my NetGalley TBR and review the amazing proofs waiting for me on my desk! More reading, please!!!

Also, look out for my Orenda Tuesday Reviews starting in May!

That’s a wrap on April! How was your month?

  1. You made me laugh when you say that you must review more books than you buy… Something I am still aiming for and failing at 😂 some great books you have there Meggy!

  2. April seems to have been good to you ❤ We have a few books in common in the read list and the new books list. I hope we will both enjoy Escape Room and Dead Inside. Have a wonderful May ❤

  3. Please tell me how is April over??? Time is flying by and I’m missing out on so many books! I hope you enjoy Little Darlings (It was a 5 star for me) I’ll be stalking your review! ❤

  4. I noticed you changed your header. I like this one better I think. But I’m a food tea and books kind of girl 😉
So glad April was a good reading month. I hope May will be too.
April was good for me as I got back to reviewing.
I’m looking forward to your review of Dead Inside.
    Amanda xx
