Happy Friday! #ThePositivityWave 7

Welcome to today’s Happy Friday! My remedy against feeling down is to make a list of all the good things in my life. It can be anything. Really, anything. The smallest gesture from a stranger can change your day, if you open your eyes. Now, I am a pessimistic and I need daily reminders to look for the bright side. Maybe you are too, or maybe the state of our world is weighing on you. In any case, here’s your shot at some happy things!

The POsitivity wave without c`

What made me happy this week?

  • Reading my friend and fellow blogger Nicki’s Positivity Wave posts ❤️
  • Singing Let It Go like a pro! Nothing like belting out like a mad lady to reduce stress! And annoy the neighbors!
  • Yûki kisses!

  • Support from the best people when faced with narrow-minded idiot people.
  • Knowing my best friend is feeling better.
  • Painting a rainbow on my toenails.
  • Finding the perfect white rose.

  • Helping someone.
  • Me-time at the hairdresser!

  • Walking 7km in downtown Bordeaux, taking in the crowd, the views, the essence of the city.
  • Winning a thumb battle.
  • Deciding to reach 200 reviews on NetGalley before the end of the year (and according to the books on my shelf, it’s totally doable xD)

Wow, two selfies in one post? That’s a first!

  1. I love love LOVE the hair 😍 Thanks for making me focus on the positive things of going to work today (like the fact I’m able to go to work at all) instead grumpily thinking I want to stay at home and read my book 😘 (which I would still prefer but I’m less grumpy 😉)

  2. Looking good lovely! Oh is that a onesie by any chance? I have one like that :-). 200 reviews on Netgalley is something I can only dream of and will probably never achieve… it would be an amazing achievement.. I’m sure you can do it too!! Happy weekend Meggy! PS. What, no photo of the rainbow, would have loved to see those lovely colours 🙂

    1. Thanks 😀 This one is not a onesie, just a gown, but I do have a panda and a raccoon ones!
I’m guilty of having requested or received way too many books on NG and my final number is close to 200, while… I’m not and it’s not fair to the publishers and authors so that’s my challenge!
I hate my feet, can’t show them! xxx

Another thing we have in common. Let it Go, is my destress song too! It really does help.

    1. The pupil that said my name last week, this week said “Morning Amanda” as he passed me in the corridor with his Teacher, without his Teacher prompting. 😁
    2. Receiving The Chestnut Man book and chocolate in the post.
    3. Smelling the lovely fresh laundry smell on my bed as I change the sheets.
    4. A delicious new coffee I found ‘caramelized honey latte ‘.
    5. Nice messages from friends 😉
Thanks for this post Meggy. It’s good for me to remember to appreciate the small things too. Hope your weekend is good.
