Hooray! I am not late for this wrap-up!
What’s New?
October has been messy. I am still adjusting to my new life. Some days have been brilliant, others painful, but all in all, October was okay. Good days, bad days, I keep them all!
The highlight of this month will stay my second meeting with Ragnar Jónasson and his wonderful publisher!
Books I read this month
Very happy with my reading this month! Not because I finally read more, but because I got lucky and found amazing reads. Quality over quantity! Well, both are better :p
Books I reviewed
1 + 1 + 1: Lies Between Us by Ronnie Turner @Ronnie__Turner @HQDigitalUK @HQStories #BlogTour
Hidden in the Dark: In Her Shadow by Mark Edwards @mredwards
Sealed Lips: One Perfect Witness by Pat Young @py321_young @Bloodhoundbook
Killer Read on Every Level: Fatal Promise by Angela Marsons @WriteAngie @bookouture #KimStoneSeries
Ready for the Lie Detector: The Righteous Spy by Merle Nygate @MerleNygate @Verve_Books
Toxic Blood: Hush Hush by Mel Sherratt @writermels @avonbooksuk
Lazy Saturday Review: And So It Begins by Rachel Abbott @RachelAbbott @Wildfirebks @ThePigeonholeHQ
Another win here with more reviews than usual! Although I still believe I need to take a step back from tours, they have been very helpful to make me write this month.
New Books (won, purchased, for review, whatever)
Again, I lost track of this part of the wrap-up… Oops!
Book of the Month Award
This month’s choice is one of the most difficult I’ve had to make. So many great books, lots of originality, fab characters, awesome plots… But there can only be one.
So why Fatal Promise? Because of Kim Stone, because of the writing, because it punched me in the gut, because it made me tear up, because I cursed, because I am in love with this series. And when your head can’t pick, you just follow your heart. So here’s to Angela Marsons making me a happy reader again!
Blogging time!
Starting this week if my WiFi comes back, or next week if I am THAT unlucky, I’ll be posting a very small sum-up of the week, along with Suntags if I find new ones…
This Week in Books
Personal posts
Extracts
Giveaways
French posts / articles en français
That’s it! If my scheduled posts go online on time, I’ll be at work while you’re reading this, but don’t hesitate to leave your own wrap-up post link and I’ll definitely check it out!
Big thumbs up-great wrap up! Happy November!:)

I’m glad to hear you’ve been good. You sound so positive (I am aware that sentence probably sounds dumb, but I don’t know how else to say it).
And yes, quality over quantity, always, but if it’s both, then it’s goals (at least for a slow reader myself).

It makes me happy to sound positive! 🙂 As a pessimist by genes, I like the fact I can choose to see the brighter side and shine! Thank you ❤

Oh, poor you, I hate it when internet issues intervene! I had two periods of working daily at my local McDonalds for a werk or two while living in France until Numéricable finally sorted it out.

I have a McDonals and a Burger King five minutes from my new home, but I can never log into WordPress from there! SFR is great, when it’s working!

I’ll be blogging as usual until the third week of November, which will be my next break! I need seven days without social media, deadlines, tours, and everything else. Just me and maybe books, but mostly TV and walks!

You beat me this time! xD Sounds like you had a wonderful month bookish wise… I still can’t believe I haven’t started the Kim Stone series yet (and with NINE books pending, it’s getting a little too intimidating to do so xD) And you got so many wonderful goodies as well in October! Here’s to November being a wonderful month. ❤ ❤ xx

That’s a lot of posts that I have missed and will catch up on reading. How annoying your Wi-Fi and kindle are down! 😣. Paperbacks are calling out to you. It’s fab you are on book 9 of Angela’s. I hope there will be more Kim love coming.
Hope work is not too bad this weekend. 💖💛.

I think my print books blackmailed all the technology in the house so they could have a better chance at being read before the end of the year, haha!
I haven’t read all the books in the series, but I so want to! It’ll be fab to go back to previous novels and see the development. Angela Marsons does it perfectly.
Lots of love! xxx
