Bradley Holmeson a thirty-something bookshop manager, is attempting to cure hisexistential dilemma with quantum physics. A reluctant philosopher embroiled in an occult experiment, he meets the violent, the obsessed and the dangerously misguided, armed only with his defensive sarcasm – all to win back the woman he loves.
I love how cryptic the blurb is. You get a hint of information, just enough to make you curious. I could have used the Goodreads one, much more detailed, but what would have been the point?
How can the layperson make an informed choice between the genuine and the deluded?
Because The Karma Farmers is all about questions. As for the answers, it is up to you to find them between the lines, to trust what you are told, to question the questions! Doubt, skepticism, and a big bag of theories!
Do you believe in coincidences? I don’t. And the book agrees with me. But it also does more than this. It takes a giant universal theory and dismantle it with scientific facts, proving the existence (or non-existence, as if I were going to give you answers…! :p ) of what we are told to believe.
Discovery gives ownership to new ideas.
So yeah, heavy talk in The Karma Farmers as everything is explained and it gave me goosebumps to even start to think about universal truths!
But there is more that theories and weird people trying to convince everyone else than a genius got it right. You meet people who truly put their beliefs out there, while actually finding themselves. You find love, and links connecting everything together. You scratch a surface you did not know was there and you get rewarded with more questions!
A very particular and colorful array of characters sets fire to the face of the world and Karma reminds them what it really is! With a witty, down-to-Earth and informative writing, you get to the core of what humans do best: ask questions they shouldn’t, and look for things where they shouldn’t!
“You know the main cause of depression?”
“Is it men?”
I must conclude by saying the theoretical part of the book was too much for me to take but I truly believe this is a timing thing and had my brain not been working too many hours, I would totally have enjoyed The Karma Farmers more!
Found out way more about the story on the other stops in the tour!
You can find the book on Amazon!

Yeah, I was confused!! But with everything happening at the moment, I was not in the right mind to follow everything. I’ll give it another try when life is quieter! xx
