Open the Curtain: Cold Blood by Robert Bryndza #CoverReveal @bookouture @RobertBryndza

What best way to end the day (or start it, depending on which time zone you’re in!!) than with a bloody fantastic cover reveal? You know how much I love covers, but I don’t fall so easily for them so when I agree for a reveal, you know it’s gonna be good…

I present you Cold Blood, the 5th book in the Erika Foster series, by Robert Bryndza!

Isn’t this cover STRIKING AND JUST CHILLING??? The details are killing me!

You might have noticed I haven’t reviewed any of the Erika Foster series books on the blog so far. There’s a good reason for it. I haven’t had the time to start it yet!!!! But I know so many people love Robert’s work and I am absolutely glad to have been allowed to take part in this cover reveal! I MUST really get going on that TBR, right?? I promise you, Mr. Bryndza, I’ll get to your stories very soon! The more I read reviews, see covers, and witness the huge talk around the books, the more I want to give up on my engagements and jump on the bandwagon!

But enough about me! I’m sure you want to know what this book has in store for you! Here’s the blurb:

The suitcase was badly rusted, and took Erika several attempts, but it yielded and sagged open as she unzipped it. Nothing could prepare her for what she would find inside…

When a battered suitcase containing the dismembered body of a young man washes up on the shore of the river Thames, Detective Erika Foster is shocked. She’s worked on some terrifying cases but never seen anything like this before.

As Erika and her team set to work, she makes the link with another victim – the body of a young woman dumped in an identical suitcase two weeks ago.

Erika quickly realises she’s on the trail of a serial killer who’s already made their next move. Yet just as Erika starts to make headway with the investigation, she is the victim of a brutal attack.

But nothing will stop Erika. As the body count rises, the twin daughters of her colleague Commander Marsh are abducted, and the stakes are higher than ever before. Can Erika save the lives of two innocent children before it’s too late? She’s running out of time and about to make a disturbing discovery…there’s more than one killer

Brilliantly gripping, Cold Blood will have you hooked from the first page and holding your breath to the heart-stopping and shocking ending.

This very promising story will be released by Bookouture on September 20th 2017! Mark the date! You can pre-order it on Amazon UK and Amazon US or on whatever Amazon you depend on!

  1. Wow that is a stunning cover, definitely chilling the more you look at it, and you’re right Meggy a cover reveal is the perfect way to end the day! 😀
I hope you enjoy this book, and the others in the series you’ve still to get to. I take it this will be a series you read in order, rather than out of order right? 🙂

    1. I love cover reveals, they make me all excited and happy! 🙂 I’ll definitely read this one in order, I have the previous first and second I think, and I’ll get the rest when I need them. It’s one of those series that everyone loves and the author keeps writing so fast it’s hard to catch up!
