Okay, we need to talk. We’ve been into this relationship long enough… I feel there are things about me you need to know…
I was not formally tagged for this but I really liked Michelle’s post (find it here) and I thought it would be a nice change as for once, books are not the center of attention. What do you mean, I am self-centered?! I just like talking about myself… or not. If you haven’t noticed yet, this is a fun and light post, not to be taken seriously!
Does it really need saying? I love chocolate. Some friends would say I suffer from Chocoholicistic (It IS hard to invent illnesses names). Waffles are my favorite comfort food and they have never let me down.
When I started this blog, the main focus had not been decided yet so I was toying with the idea of talking about food, makeup, books and life in general, hence the name that has nothing to do with books! I never even thought about changing from the moment I realized by love for books would turn Chocolatenwaffles into a book blog because no matter the subject, it is always discussed with my very own voice, and chocolate and waffles are my fuel. I’m happy with it and I actually really like the fact it doesn’t say I’m a bookworm straight away. I’m a mysterious woman :p
What the hell is that anyway? Alright, I played the game but don’t ask me to explain the test or tell you how those people are!
It looks like I am an advocate, or (INFJ-T). Let’s dissect the result
- 64% Introvert /36% Extravert. This trait determines how we interact with our environment. Then I must be using all those 36% online, even though I don’t feel that introvert!
- 56% Intuitive / 44% Observant. This trait shows where we direct our mental energy. What mental energy?
- 72% Feelings / 28% Thinking. This trait determines how we make decisions and cope with emotions. I don’t cope, I juggle with emotions! I fought this for a while but then I realized it made me more empathetic towards others so, bring on the feelings!
- 88% Judging / 12% Prospecting. This trait reflects our approach to work, planning and decision-making. Okay…
- 73% Turbulent / 27% Assertive. This trait underpins all others, showing how confident we are in our abilities and decisions.
The Advocate personality type is very rare, making up less than one percent of the population, but they nonetheless leave their mark on the world. As members of the Diplomat Role group, Advocates have an inborn sense of idealism and morality, but what sets them apart is that they are not idle dreamers, but people capable of taking concrete steps to realize their goals and make a lasting positive impact.
I AM RARE? Honey, I already knew that, I’m unique.
Advocates tend to see helping others as their purpose in life, but while people with this personality type can be found engaging rescue efforts and doing charity work, their real passion is to get to the heart of the issue so that people need not be rescued at all.
Advocates indeed share a unique combination of traits: though soft-spoken, they have very strong opinions and will fight tirelessly for an idea they believe in. They are decisive and strong-willed, but will rarely use that energy for personal gain – Advocates will act with creativity, imagination, conviction and sensitivity not to create advantage, but to create balance. Egalitarianism and karma are very attractive ideas to Advocates, and they tend to believe that nothing would help the world so much as using love and compassion to soften the hearts of tyrants.
Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness.
Advocates find it easy to make connections with others, and have a talent for warm, sensitive language, speaking in human terms, rather than with pure logic and fact. It makes sense that their friends and colleagues will come to think of them as quiet Extraverted types, but they would all do well to remember that Advocates need time alone to decompress and recharge, and to not become too alarmed when they suddenly withdraw. Advocates take great care of other’s feelings, and they expect the favor to be returned – sometimes that means giving them the space they need for a few days.
Okay that last part was disturbing.
Really though, it is most important for Advocates to remember to take care of themselves. The passion of their convictions is perfectly capable of carrying them past their breaking point and if their zeal gets out of hand, they can find themselves exhausted, unhealthy and stressed. This becomes especially apparent when Advocates find themselves up against conflict and criticism – their sensitivity forces them to do everything they can to evade these seemingly personal attacks, but when the circumstances are unavoidable, they can fight back in highly irrational, unhelpful ways.
To Advocates, the world is a place full of inequity – but it doesn’t have to be. No other personality type is better suited to create a movement to right a wrong, no matter how big or small. Advocates just need to remember that while they’re busy taking care of the world, they need to take care of themselves, too.
Famous advocates, beside myself: Alanis Morissette, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Jimmy Carter, Mother Teresa, Nicole Kidman (hahahahahaha, sorry, private joke), and Jon Snow.
And what does having a tremendous amount of fun doing those useless tests say about me?
I’m a virgin!
Okay that was a silly French joke because the word is used both for the … “state” and the Zodiac sign in my native language. I’m a Virgo and I’m okay with it.
Taken somewhere on the Internet: The great strength of the Virgo-born is in their practicality, sharp mind and attention to detail. When merged with their willingness to serve, Virgos become essential helpmates. They can be picky — so what?
I feel insulted that you must ask. I am a Ravenclaw! But for the sake this never-endig tag, I’m going to take this test.
AHAH! Told you!
You have a mild read/write learning preference.
I said a million times I had no creativity! But intuition and curiosity.. Let’s argue with that!
According to my little card, I’m A+!
Okay, I got writer…
You have a skill for language, your imagination is vast and you are artistic and creative. Your brain is just overflowing with ideas, and all you have to do is get a piece of paper and share it with the world. You were born to turn words into magical stories
Now that is interesting because it reminds me of a conversation I had once with Jill in which she made the remark I do am a writer. Blogging every week requires some writing skills, especially when it involves reviews. I really like the idea but I do not see it or myself as a writer at all.
DAUNTLESS. You and your sense of humour, dear test.
You belong with the brave. You’re the iconic rebel, and you love adventure. Nothing scares you, and if it does, you conquer it. You’re quick to overcome your fears, eager to try new things, and always first to pick a fight. Staying active is a huge priority. You like to keep your mind and body fit so that you’re ready for anything. You probably experiment with your hair more often than Miley Cyrus, and you probably had your first tattoo before you were legal. You know how to protect what is yours, and you won’t settle for anything less.
I’m a wimp who will only accept adventures if they come inside a book!!
Learn all about birth order here!
Only child here! So as a first born I am… Natural leader, ambitious, responsible. And Awesome :p
Ooh, interesting tag. I like that it comes with tests!
The Myer-Briggs tests is always weird to me because 1) I think I fluctuate between two results depending on my mood when answering the test and 2) I think it says everyone is rare. It must not actually claim everyone is unique, but all the results I’ve seen always say that.
And, yes, Ravenclaw!

I really had fun taking all the tests, but I hadn’t planned on the post taking so much time to be created!!
Ravenclaw! 😀

😂😂 Well… I think there are so many things you haven’t told us about yourself yet. When are you going to reveal all of your magical powers and tell us the tv show Charmed is real and you’re actually Phoebe? 😂😂😂

SHUUUUUUSH, I can’t reveal everything yet!!! 😭😭 (when I was little and playing with my stepsisters, I was always Prue anyway :p)

Thank you for sharing =D It’s funny because throughout my entire life I have always been INFJ too, not matter how much I think I’ve changed. I decided to take the Myers test again and I thought for sure I was going to be something else…Nope, lol…I’m an INFJ , -A/ -T. I am going to have to read this and see what that whole -A -T thing is though.

Hahaha this si so much fun, I’m a ISFJ, so almost like you 😛 To be honest, I was like 55% introvert, but my judging and feeling were like 90% haha I’ve taken this test like 4 times in four years and I always get the same answer!

Haha I did not know about this test! And frankly I have no idea what the hell it really means or if it’s helpful but it was fun (and accurate for some parts!)

I knew I already did this tag but couldn’t remember my results anymore. After a lot of scrolling I found it.. I’m a defender in the Meyer-Briggs test (excellent analytical abilities, introverted and a perfectionist). This is so spot-on. I’m also a Virgo and in Ravenclaw :-). We really have so much in common! I’ve had many friendships with Virgo’s and even my boss is one. We understand the mutual need for perfection ;-). Great tag!

You summed it up perfectly 😀 Virgos are the best, anyway! It’s insane just how much we have in common!

Hahaha If I had gotten Dauntless, I would have just rolled on the floor laughing. I didn’t want to be one of the bad guys, but Erudite seemed far more realistic. Also niiiiice, you are like Jon Snow! One of the most honorable people of Westeros.

I laughed my ass off when I saw the Dauntless result. It couldn’t be farther from the truth xD Yay! It was weird to see Jon’s name next to Mandela or Mother Teresa but xD

Well, those are even more surreal names in my head than Jon’s … we are an odd generation.

I really love this tag, it seems like a lot of fun and I guess it’s an interesting way to spend an afternoon taking part in all these quizzes to find out more about yourself.
I will say seeing other people’s responses to this tag I’ve noticed a lot of people are ending up with Writer as their career and a lot of people are being housed in Ravenclaw. I guess us bloggers tend to be similar people, or based on this tag we seem to be! 😀

Hahahha “I’m a wimp.” Great post. Never seen a tag with so many different tests. It almost looked like a doctor examination packed into one neat post! By the way, I swear. The more I read your stuff, the more you sound like Donna from Suits. I mean, how could I NOT read THIS with Donna’s voice? : “I AM RARE? Honey, I already knew that, I’m unique.” Hahahahah great stuff!
